Senior Beauty Therapist

A hands-on role combining advanced beauty therapy, client care and senior-level team support. Working alongside our Salon Supervisor, you'll deliver high-quality treatments and help develop our junior therapists and apprentices.

  • £12.82 to £13.85 per hour (DOE)
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Full-time, permanent

What you'll do

  • Deliver a broad range of beauty, massage and advanced skincare treatments
  • Support the Salon Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the salon
  • Act as senior therapist on duty when required
  • Mentor and supervise junior therapists and apprentices
  • Support diary management, stock control and retail sales
  • Promote treatments, products and client rebooking
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, health and safety

Essential treatment skills

  • Swedish and deep tissue massage
  • Facials and professional skincare
  • Waxing, including intimate waxing
  • Manicures, pedicures, Shellac and gel
  • Brow and lash treatments

What you'll need

  • NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent
  • Experience as a qualified therapist in a professional salon
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and taking responsibility
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays and late shifts, including Thursdays until 7pm

Desirable

  • Level 4 Beauty Therapy or advanced qualifications
  • CACI, laser hair removal, IPL or radio frequency
  • Aromatherapy, hot stone or pregnancy massage
  • Previous senior therapist or mentoring experience
