About Cedars
Established in 1986, Cedars Health and Beauty Centre provides the most innovative beauty therapies and advanced treatments available, complimented by the finest professional salon brands.
Our History
The original directors developed Cedars from its humble beginnings at Gloucester Leisure Centre (GL1). The journey has taken us from having two smaller salons, one in Hucclecote and one in Gloucester city centre, to the amalgamation of both in 2008.
2014 was a new beginning for our team, and saw yet another move into Gloucester’s historical ‘Bleak House’. Built in 1885, this amazing building gave us the platform we needed to launch our very own Academy on the top floor. Here, learners can benefit from the knowledge of our experienced tutors before going it alone in their chosen beauty or holistic career.
With a unique business model, we take pride in being at the very forefront of the industry and meeting a variety of needs and tastes. Our extensive range covers basic services, advanced technologies and luxury experiences that go hand in hand and meet the needs of our discerning clientele.

I have worked for Cedars since 2020 as An Assessor/ IQA Since then, I have moved into the role of Operations Manager supporting Cedars Salon and Cedars Training Academy with our Wonderful team of Therapists and Tutors, I love my job.
My career started working in Spas and Salons in Birmingham City. I then started my own business, gaining 5* ratings, which then lead me to wanting to develop more into my teaching and passing my passions onto others within the industry. While Still Completing Treatments. My Favourite Treatments to do are Facials. The Best thing about being in the Beauty Industry is Making people feel good about themselves.
When I am not at work I am often out in the fresh air with my husband, daughter, and my Dog in the local Nature Reserve. My Favourite thing to do is to have a family cuddle on the sofa with a film listening to the rain on the windows with a hot drink. Family life is what I live for.

Hi I’m Kirsty, I’m originally from Gloucestershire but I have lived in the North East for the past 10 years having trained as a beauty therapist at Newcastle College and working in the city centre for 6 years.
I have a big passion for facials, I love seeing clients see results from facial treatments. Especially when they have such a significant result and change to their skin tone and texture.
I’m happy to return to beauty therapy to reinvigorate my passion for beauty and holistic treatments and to help my clients feel better and more comfortable in their own skin.
